Since its founding in 1894, the YWCA (Young Women's Christian Association) of Seattle | King | Snohomish has been building a community of support and outreach for women and families throughout a two county region of Western Washington.
The YWCA serves more than 60,000 women and families each year with programs to end homelessness, create self-sufficiency, care for children and youth, prevent violence and eliminate racism.
YWCA EMERGENCY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTERS
The YWCA’s Emergency Domestic Violence Shelters provide a critical bridge to safety for women and children who are fleeing from domestic violence.
The YWCA provides critical services of secure housing, safety planning and advocacy based counseling, enabling women to rebuild a life free of violence.

YWCA CHILDREN'S DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROGRAMS
The YWCA Children’s Domestic Violence Program works with children and non-abusive parents to minimize the destructive repercussions of domestic violence upon children. The YWCA Children’s Domestic Violence Program works with families to strengthen parent-child relationships, develop safety planning, expand support networks for families, provide domestic violence education and advocacy based counseling.
