ADWAS provides comprehensive services to Deaf and Deaf-Blind victims/survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking. ADWAS believes that violence is a learned behavior and envisions a world where violence is not tolerated.

ABUSED DEAF WOMEN'S ADVOCACY SERVICES' PROGRAMS
• Advocacy
ADWAS has advocates on staff to assist people who are victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault and need help. Services are free of charge and available to people who are Deaf, Deaf-Blind or Hard of Hearing and residents of King, Pierce or Snohomish County.
• Counseling Support to Victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault
• National Domestic Violence Hotline
• Positive Parenting Program
The Positive Deaf Parenting Program offers parenting education and support to all members of the Deaf community. A variety of classes and workshops are offered throughout the year in King County, Everett and Tacoma.
• Transitional Housing Program
• Children's Program
Providing therapy, support groups, advocacy and structured educational and recreational activities to children whose lives have been affected by domestic violence or sexual assault.
